For each DC circuit, the DC Resistance is computed based on the cable properties. For each AC circuit, the DC and AC Resistances as well as the Inductance and Capacitance are computed based on the cable properties. The circuit resistance is used to compute real power losses which are passed to the SAM energy performance model. The circuit inductance and capacitance (along with resistance) is used to estimate real and reactive power flow and power factor at the point of delivery.
