Step 1: Click New Project on the top Navigation Bar.
Step 2: Enter New Project Name and Location. Location can be entered as a city or address or latitude/longitude pair. If entering as a latitude/longitude pair, use the signed decimal degrees format (DDD.ddd, DDD.ddd) where latitudes range from -90 to 90 and longitudes from -180 to 180.
Note- the location entered does not need to be exact. The site boundaries can be adjusted once inside the Site page.
Step 3: Select System of Units (Metric or Imperial).
Note- Once the project is created, the system of units is locked and cannot be changed.
Step 4: Select the Currency. If a currency other than USD is selected, an exchange rate (compared to USD) will be editable. The default value within the exchange rate is retrieved in real time from a financial API.
Note- Once the project is created, the currency is locked and cannot be changed. However, the exchange rate may be updated from within the project.
Step 5: Click Create Project.
